Quality Assurance

Margaria Cleaning Group has developed a fully operative Quality Assurance System and is accredited under ISO: 9001:2015 with GRS Certification.

Our Quality Assurance Manual is an integral part of the Company’s Quality Management System. In conjunction with our Quality Assurance Policy, it summarises and illustrates the Company’s Quality Management System.

Procedures are in place to ensure that this quality policy is known and understood by all staff and implemented throughout the company. Company management and employees assess all procedures for efficiency and effectiveness in identifying and controlling defective operations before they affect service delivery or result in a reportable environmental incident.

Our Area Managers conducts daily reports, and the Quality Manager will conduct monthly evaluations of the cleaning contract service, verifying that services are provided in accordance with contract requirements. Margaria Cleaning Group uses a QA Inspection Report to perform the verification and produce a Quality Assurance Report.

All management systems and plans are also reviewed on a regular basis by an independent audit specialist under the guidance of senior management.

Margaria Cleaning Group has a Staff Performance Management System to assist individuals and the company to improve performance by providing a clear basis for the development of individual accountabilities, reviewing performance and determining training and skills development needs as well as promoting excellence.

The System is an integrated process and has several purposes including:

  • Maximizing the performance and contribution of staff to improve our efficiency.

  • Fostering a culture that encourages excellence of performance.

  • Ensuring staff are aware of their key tasks and how they relate to Company goals, supervisor’s expectations and how their performance will be measured.

  • Ensuring all staff undergo our induction programme to ensure fully competent staff are sent for the right tasks. Induction refresher programmes are also done annually.

  • Promoting open and constructive communication to identify job related strengths and weaknesses, acknowledge accomplishments and improve work performance.

  • Promoting a results-orientated work outlook that will identify poor, satisfactory and outstanding performance and initiate appropriate action, including rewards and sanctions.

  • Identifying staff development needs and implementing appropriate action through training.

  • Ensuring that job descriptions are realistic, appropriate, relevant, clearly defined

  • Developing ways in which staff might enhance their performance and further develop skills/competencies.
